For years, Democrats took the so-called “moral high ground” on redistricting. We created independent redistricting commissions. We passed fairness laws in blue states. We gave up the tools of power in the name of principle—while Republicans used every lever to rig the map and lock in control. But let me tell you something: that era is over.
Because I said something out loud that a lot of people were thinking: if red states are going to gerrymander to silence Democrats, then blue states should gerrymander right back—until we force them to agree to federally ban partisan gerrymandering nationwide. We called it what it is: Leverage. And guess what? Millions of people heard us.
Our videos took off. Our message rang out in every corner of this country. And even Governor Gavin Newsom said he’d look into it. Because people are tired of watching Democrats play fair while Republicans play dirty and win.
Let me make this plain: I believe in democracy. I believe in fair maps. But I also believe in fighting back when our people are under attack.
Blue states shouldn’t be sanctuaries for fairness while red states become laboratories for voter suppression. We have power too—and it’s time we use it to force a solution that protects every voter in every state.
You want fairness? Then let’s make it fair for real. Not just for California. Not just for New York. But for Georgia, Texas, Florida, and every place where voters have been carved up, cracked, and silenced.
This isn’t about revenge. This is about results. Because the truth is: if we don’t play hardball, we don’t get a seat at the table.
So yes—I said it. I meant it. And I’m not backing down.
Because when the rules are rigged, you don’t win by pretending it’s a fair game. You win by flipping the board.
And that’s exactly what we’re doing.
If you want to see me take this fire straight to Trump and the spineless Republicans in Congress, please consider chipping into our campaign.$1, 10, $100, anything helps in the fight to take down Trump and anyone standing in the way.
